I’ve been in other industries and I would never leave Home Depot, because I love the working environment. I love my fellow peers and my management team. They’re wonderful people to work with. Drives compensation and performance management for client group including creation of new role descriptions and updates.
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles. Typically requires overnight travel approximately 25% of the time.

I do love working for The Home Depot, because I just think it’s a wonderful place to work.
HRMs are independent, show initiative, and are willing to take the lead and offer direction to others. They are persistent in the face of obstacles, can adapt to changes in the work environment, and consistently exert effort towards achieving their goals. They are tolerant to minor daily stressors and demonstrate high self-control. HRMs can be described as dependable, have a high attention to detail, and show ethics and integrity in their work.
The Home Depot Store Support Center
Everybody treats everybody around here like their friend. Our management has cook outs for us. It’s just all around a good company to work for. I ordered a refrigerator online for my tenants, scheduled to be delivered a week later. A select few are using the internship as a path to continue growing their careers with The Home Depot. More than 30 students who presently work at Home Depot locations were selected for the Store to Store Support Center internship program.
We do price changes and we also execute projects. Like right now, we are working on the spring reset. We do the Christmas reset, we do the vanity reset.
Lots of trucks coming inbound to unload and then we are loading trucks to go to stores, so there is a lot of forklift traffic. Our main focus is getting product in front of customers quickly. From the moment you walk through these doors, you start feeling welcomed.
Nd store was miles and miles away, and I’m sorry but we just don’t have the time to go traipsing around the universe at Home Depot’s beck and call. So, we just paid the bill in full. Home Depot corporate headquarters resolved this issue to my satisfaction. I will likely continue doing business with Home Depot as they have demonstrated a willingness to listen to their customers. The Home Depot was founded in 1978 by Bernie Marcus and Arthur Blank.
Credit Center and they refuse to fix it over the phone. They tell us we have to go back to the two stores and get the stores to call the credit center to okay the special financing. So we drive miles out of our way to the first store and spend an hour trying to get this straightened out. While the internship program only lasts 11 weeks, quite a few of the participants will be back. Last year, more than 75 percent of interns received offers to stay with The Home Depot. “I’ve been given the opportunity to work on projects that truly impact the company,” says Merchandising intern Christine Shearer.
Today is National Intern Day, a day to recognize the hard work of employees beginning their careers. With more than 330 interns joining the company this summer, The Home Depot has a lot to celebrate. HRMs are skilled in identifying the best people to perform a job.
